This is a comment we hear often. Our suggestion is to talk with your parents and let them know just how important it is to you to have their story recorded. We have found that it works well to organise for us to meet them and talk to them.

This is a private recording. It is a question to whether or not they are prepared to overcome their shyness to create something that is of real value to your family.

All families have their tough times. We want to create something that leaves both you and your family satisfied and has a positive outcome. We don’t focus on the negative.

Your privacy is extremely important to us. Family Record is strictly for you and your family and is not used for any other purpose. There are times when we use highlights of interviews for marketing purposes and always seek the interviewee’s permission first.

We understand that being in front of a camera can be daunting. Our experienced interviewers have the ability to engage you to the point that you forget about the camera.

We suggest smart/casual dress. We do advise not to where stripes as this can create a strobe-like effect when viewing on the screen.

No. We find that you will get a better result if you do not prepare. However, we do ask for you to reminices and enjoy yourself. Say whatever is on your mind. Remember, we can edit out anything that you are not happy with.

We usually hold onto the master copy for safekeeping. However, if you prefer to have them we will deliver them to you at the end of the process.

 

FAQS 12

You are more than welcome to do this. However, this will be at an extra charge.

 

FAQS 13

For a fee, we will provide any number of copies you require.

 

FAQS 14

Our commitment is that you have a Family Record that you are happy with. If you are unhappy with the end result, we will give you your money back.
